Event description

Fun with soap and water? You’ll be astonished when you investigate surface tension; explore the chemistry behind bath bombs; and make your own to use at home. It’ll be an explosion of chemical fun!

Scientists in School is a leading national science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education charity that is dedicated to providing programs for children and youth across Canada. Programs are designed to build confidence in STEM and develop critical thinking skills. The mission of Scientists in School is to ignite scientific curiosity in children so that they question intelligently; learn through discovery; connect scientific knowledge to their world; are excited about science, technology, engineering and math; and have their interest in careers in those fields piqued.
