How to Teach Kids About Money

From the early years of learning how to count change to budgeting in the high school years, Teri Courchene will share ideas and strategies for teaching your children the value of money.

Teri will cover topics including how playing board and card games helps children with math, strategies for giving children allowances, and giving children more responsibility with money as they get older. She will also cover how to get teenagers started with investing once they turn 18.

Presented by Teri Courchene, an economist, math tutor and former investing instructor at the University of Toronto School for Continuing Studies.

This program is for adults but Teri invites children to attend with their parents.

Drop-in, no registration required.
