Event description

Have you just gotten your hands on a new Android phone or tablet — or are you thinking about taking the plunge? This hands-on class is designed for absolute beginners and will walk you through everything you need to know to start using your device with confidence. You'll learn the basics of powering on, charging, and connecting to Wi-Fi, then master finger gestures like tapping, swiping, and pinching to navigate your home screen with ease. We'll demystify your device's settings so you can personalize everything from your ringtone to your notifications, and we'll cover cloud storage so you never lose a precious photo again. You'll also pick up simple troubleshooting tips and get connected to free learning resources to keep building your skills long after class ends. Everyone starts somewhere, and by the end of this session, you'll be ready to explore your Android device on your own!
