Introduction to 3D Printing
Learn how 3D printers work and how you can print at the Toronto Public Library’s Digital Innovation Hubs. In this lecture, we will cover:
- Basics of 3D Printing
- How to prepare a 3D design file for printing on a Prusa 3D printer using PrusaSlicer
- How to access and use 3D printers at the Digital Innovation Hubs at the Toronto Public Library
- Best practice for 3D printing and where to find designs
- Review of the rules and guidelines for using 3D printers at the Toronto Public Library
Registration is required.
Note: Customers are no longer required to attend a mandatory 3D printing class prior to using a 3D printer at the Toronto Public Library’s Digital Innovation Hubs. This class is for those who are interested in learning more about 3D printing and how to use the Prusa software.
