Free Income Tax Clinic with North York Community House

North York Community House is hosting a free income tax clinic for eligible individuals and families at this branch. Please check below to see if you meet the requirements.

Family income limits include:

• One person: $40,000
• Two persons: $55,000
• Three persons: $60,000
• Four persons: $65,000
• Five persons: $70,000
• More than five persons: $70,000 plus $5000 for each additional person

In addition:

• Those who have T4 with income limits
• Students with Tuition fees paid receipt (T2202) or Bursaries/Scholarships receipts
• Those who are on social assistance
• Newcomers, such as, Permanent Residents, Refugees, International Students

Who is not eligible?

• Those who are self-employed or have employment expenses
• Those who have business or rental income and expenses
• Those who have filed for bankruptcy
• Those who are completing a tax return for a deceased person

Information Collection Notice: The personal information on this form is collected by the Toronto Public Library under the Public Libraries Act, sections 20(a), 20(c), and 20(d).
