Event description

Join TV host and celebrity chef Sang Kim in a communal kimchi-making experience, called Kimjang, named UNESCO’s Intangible Culture Heritage. Participants will learn about the origins and history of traditional poggi kimchi and the rituals of Kimjang. They will then chop vegetables and prepare the kimchi* to take home for fermentation. Recipes will also be distributed.

*Kimchi paste contains fish sauce and fermented baby shrimp.

Food allergy notice: Please be aware that food will be used in this program. Certain food ingredients may cause allergic reactions in some people. This program uses a Kimchi paste that contains fish sauce and fermented baby shrimp

This is an in-person program for Adults. Space is limited.
