NatureTO: Trees Around the Branch Tour
The Jones Branch and its neighbourhood is home to a variety of trees. Join the City of Toronto Urban Forestry team to explore the natural world on a local neighbourhood tour. Learn how to recognize different species and fun facts about their cultural and ecological importance.
Free program. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver. Registration is required and will open 1 month before the program date (March 17 2026).
The tour will start and end at the Jones Branch and will be guided by the City of Toronto Urban Forestry staff. There may be uneven, unpaved surfaces along the route. Please dress and prepare accordingly for this outdoor program (e.g. gloves/mittens, hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable shoes). This program takes place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, registrants will be notified of an alternative date.
