Event description

Join Black Creek Community Farm this March Break at York Woods Public Library!  Families are invited to roll up their sleeves, plant their own seeds, and explore how tiny sprouts turn into fresh, nutritious greens. Through hands-on activities, children and caregivers will learn what plants need to grow and experience the wonder of growing food together and learning new recipes. Perfect for curious minds and little green thumbs!

  • Learn sprouts and microgreens and how to grow them
  • Know some health benefits in eating sprouts
  • Discover how to use them in various recipes

Drop-in only, no large groups
