Transforming Garbage: Collage a Postcard
Gain an understanding of creating art with upcycled materials through the art of collage. By using magazines and a card stock surface, participants will start cutting out images and words that relate to their desired work of art. This workshop will encourage the process of working with collage as a non-precious material and inspire participants to create a piece of art with the materials in their own home/community.
This workshop will be delivered by Alysha Rocca, an emerging artist who holds a BFA from OCAD University. Working with the theme of sustainability, Alysha weaves together the threads of feminism and environmental consciousness.
