on April 17, 2026, 4:00pm to 5:00pm

Event actions

Event description

Everything old is new again, and native plant gardens are now all the rage. And for a good reason! A Toronto Master Gardener will go over:

- Why native plants are best adapted to (thus more successful in) our climatic conditions;

- How they support biodiversity by providing food and shelter for birds and pollinators

- How they enhance the beauty of our gardens.

You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by adding more native plants to your garden… come and learn how!

This program is part of TPL's Our Fragile Planet program series, supported by Friends of Toronto Public Library, South Chapter.

No registration required. DROP-IN!
