Supporting Our Local Pollinators in Small Spaces

on April 15, 2026, 2:00pm to 3:00pm

Event description

Pollinators need a supply of nectar throughout the growing season, so if you are planting up pots for your garden or balcony, why not choose plants that will attract birds, bees, and butterflies? This demonstration, led by a Toronto Master Gardener, will start with how to choose soil, plants, and containers, and how to arrange them to maximize their positive impact on the environment. At the end of the demonstration, materials will be shared with participants, while supplies last.

This program is part of TPL's Our Fragile Planet program series, supported by Friends of Toronto Public Library, South Chapter.
