Event description

David Townsend presents and reads excerpts from his historical novel, The Ram in the Thicket, (Palmetto Publishing, 2025) prefaced with some historical background.

Set in medieval Norwich, England, the plot centres on the meeting of two major figures in women's literary history, Julian of Norwich and Margery Kempe, and on the remnants of the city's Jewish population, which was officially expelled from England generations earlier.
