Event description

Winter Light: The Memoir of a Child of Holocaust Survivors is about a sequence of serendipitous rescues—an emotional rags-to-riches story.

Grace Feuerverger, professor emerita of the University of Toronto, will share her story of hope and gratitude which adds a radically different piece to the mosaic of post-Holocaust literature. At the core of her memoir stands a little girl struggling to find a path toward the Life force and to escape from the demons of despair that permeated her home.
