AI Fundamentals for Kids with MediaSmarts
In this playful, hands-on workshop, children will discover that AI tools are computer programs built by people—they don't think or feel like we do, they just look for patterns in the examples they're shown. Through fun activities, participants will figure out a "robot's" secret rules, learn why AI sometimes makes mistakes, and design their very own "Trashbot" that learns to tell trash from treasure. This program is designed for children ages 6-9 years. Registration required. Please register 1 spot for each child attending the workshop.
