Community Listening Session & Introduction to Civic Innovation

on October 5, 2026, 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Event description

What does civic innovation actually mean and what does it have to do with you? This opening session brings the community together to answer that question. We will introduce the Civix by Design program, explore what civic innovation looks like in real neighbourhoods, and most importantly, hear from you: what challenges in your community matter most? Your input shapes everything that follows.

This program is part of TPL's Innovator in Residence series focused on civic innovation. From October 5 to November 28, join programs, workshops and one-on-one consultations led by technology strategist Ismail Mohamud to learn how technology can help you create positive change in your community.
