Branch Art Exhibit: Works by Racheal McCaigIn Progress
Throughout the month of October, the works of artist Racheal McCaig are on display at Albion Branch.
Racheal is an arts insider and award-winning photojournalist, Racheal’s work takes her behind the scenes and around the world. While she loves creating dynamic moments, she truly delights in capturing the beauty in the every day. Along with being the recipient of two medals of honour from the Government of France, she is also an active advocate for the arts.
"We wear them every November, but how many of us have actually seen a poppy? As the audience explores the impact and history of these delicate, fragile flowers, the installation will also create a sense of calm as they move through it. Tiens-le haut is a new creation proving that something fragile can stand for strength."
The exhibit can be viewed during Albion branch's open hours. Please check the Albion branch page before you visit.
Free. All are welcome.
