Disability: Read Up On It!

Positive Deaf and Disability Representation in Children's Books Reading about people who are different from you lets you imagine, reflect on, and learn about their lives. And sometimes it is good to read about someone who is like you, too. Below is a list of great stories with positive portrayals of people with a variety of different abilities. The titles are divided by format, from picture books to novels to information books for all young readers to enjoy.
